Washington Wizards Won the Lottery

The Washington Wizards just won the lottery. No not the D.C. lottery, but the NBA lottery. They had a 10.3% chance behind Philidelphia and New Jersey and their number came up.

This highlights a horrific season with owner Abe Polan passing away in November, Gilbert ArenasGilbert Arenas being suspended with 50 games left in the season and a final record of 26-56.
With the draft a month away, the Wizards now must decide whether to pick Kentuckey freshman point guard John Wall or the national player of the year from Ohio State, Evan TurnerEvan Turner. Either of these players could produce big for a team that is rebuilding and looking to youth to start the foundation.

The NBA draft starts June 24th at 7:00pm EST and will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York city.
